Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By registering for or using Taprio (taprio.in), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Taprio. These terms are governed by the laws of India.

2. The Service

Taprio provides digital visiting card profiles and optional NFC physical cards. The free plan gives you a digital profile at taprio.in. Paid plans include physical NFC cards shipped to your address in India. All plans are described in detail at taprio.in/pricing.

3. Your Account

  • You must be 18 years or older to create an account
  • You must provide accurate name, phone number and email
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure
  • One account per person — do not create multiple accounts
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You may not share your account with others

4. Your Profile Content

You are responsible for all content on your profile. You agree not to post content that:

  • Is false, misleading or fraudulent
  • Infringes copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property
  • Is obscene, offensive, hateful or discriminatory
  • Promotes illegal activities
  • Impersonates another person or business
  • Contains spam, malware or phishing links

We reserve the right to remove any profile that violates these terms without notice.

5. Payments & Plans

  • All NFC card plans are one-time payments — no subscriptions
  • Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include GST where applicable
  • Payments are processed securely via Razorpay
  • Your plan becomes active immediately after payment confirmation
  • You can upgrade your plan anytime from your dashboard
  • The free plan is free forever — no credit card required

6. NFC Card Orders & Delivery

  • NFC cards are custom-printed with your profile details
  • We ship within 48 hours of order confirmation
  • Delivery takes 2–5 working days across India via courier
  • Delivery is free on all NFC card orders
  • You must provide a correct delivery address — we are not responsible for failed deliveries due to wrong address
  • Once an NFC card is printed and shipped, it cannot be refunded (see Refund Policy)

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use Taprio to:

  • Collect leads fraudulently or without consent
  • Send spam to people who submitted their contact via your lead form
  • Resell Taprio accounts or profiles without written permission
  • Attempt to hack, scrape or disrupt the Taprio platform
  • Create profiles for illegal businesses or services

8. Intellectual Property

The Taprio name, logo, design system and platform code are owned by Taprio. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute any part of Taprio without written permission. Your profile content (photos, bio, links) belongs to you.

9. Service Availability

We aim for 99%+ uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily makes the platform unavailable. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, without notice or refund. You may delete your account anytime from your dashboard. On deletion, your public profile is removed immediately.

11. Limitation of Liability

Taprio is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of Taprio. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Malerkotla, Punjab, India.
